Joel Lieb is a seasoned professional in the financial services and investment industry
with recurring success in the defined contribution, institutional investment, mutual fund
and collective investment trust segments.  During his nearly 30-year career with SEI
Investments, he held positions of increasing responsibility in Relationship Management,
Investment Solutions & Development; Advice, Sales, and Operations.  Known for his resourcefulness,
industry acumen, transparency, and analytical approach; Joel continues to be a sought-
after partner in client relationships, projects, and new opportunities.  Joel’s reputation
and track record have led to continued requests for speaking appearances on

investment-related panels.

Joel began his career in operations and led a team of 50 professionals. During his
operations career, Joel converted $10 B in assets from common and collective
investment trusts (CIT) to new and existing mutual funds, transitioned 10 mutual fund
trusts totaling $30 B in assets from one outsourcing provider to another provider and
launched several start-up mutual fund complexes. Joel then transitioned from
operations to relationship management and during this time, he oversaw the conversion
of 20 investment managers from a closing series trust to an existing series trust, saved
an at-risk client relationship worth $6 M in annual revenue to the company and oversaw
back-office outsourcing relationships representing $17 M in annual revenue. Joel also
became the subject-matter for SEI Investments’ Collective Investment Trust (CIT)
business. During that time, Joel managed the growth in the organization’s CIT
business. With his leadership, the CIT business grew by 300% and asset growth
increased by180%. Joel was also responsible for securing the largest CIT opportunity
resulting in $12 B in new assets and $2 M in additional revenue. Joel has experience
acting as a investment fiduciary for defined contribution plans and was part of a team
that converted 4 defined contribution plans from an off-the-shelf investment menu to a

completely customized investment menu.
